Each year there is a major photography contest that allows photographers from all over the world to share their work, and inspire others.
It’s a way to bring the community together and share what we love.
This was my first year entering the contest. As a photographer, I constantly doubt my work and ability. I entered the contest thinking that there was no way I would make it to the top. There are so many talented photographers in the world that I look up to and aspire to be as good as them.
This year, there were 583,150 photos that were entered into the contest.
I had one image make it into the finalist round placing 238 out of 3009.
I had 5 images place in the top 10% of the contest.
I had 5 images in the top 20% of the contest.
I had 8 images in the top 30% of the contest.

I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for me and only hope that next year is even better!
