Milestone sessions are designed to be simple so the focus can be placed on your growing little one. These are perfect for documenting your little one’s milestones within the first year and beyond — like tummy time, smiles, giggles, toe grabbing, sitting and standing. My goal is to document each of these little moments so that you can cherish them long after they’re gone.

Carly's 6 month milestone session just so happened to be around Mother's Day. So her mama wanted to incorporate some of her, Carly, and Carly's grandmother!
We decided to use a neutral and teal color scheme. After the studio portion, we headed outdoors to grab some portraits in the flower garden!

Indie's mom reached out to me to capture her babe's 6 month session. She specifically wanted to use my boho chair. Normally, I live for monochromatic setups but in this case, mom really envisioned the purple against mustard and it meshed together beautifully.

Take the first step by filling out a contact form. From there, I'll give you a call. I love being able to connect and create relationship with my clients. We want to be sure that we are a good fit for each other.
During this call, we chat about your family , what your hopes are for your baby's newborn session, and how you would like to display your memories.
1. Say Hello
During your consultation, you'll learn more about my business, view all of the products I offer, and chat about pricing.
We will also plan out your session! We will talk about your style, color schemes, and your vision for your portraits!
Lastly, you'll book your session!
2. planning it
The fun part- your babe's newborn session!
Show up, relax, and let me take over. We will begin your newborn session with some family portraits and then move into focusing solely on your baby!
3. The session
About a week or so following your newborn session, you'll get to see your portraits for the first time!
You'll fall in love, select your favorites and choose how you'd like to display your portraits.
4. ordering appointment
Depending on what products your order, it can take anywhere from 3-8 weeks for delivery. I'll inspect each product to ensure they are perfect! Then we will schedule your order pickup and/or installation.

Melanie was nothing short of amazing. From the first interaction to shoot day. As a new mom I was a bit overwhelmed about, well you know, everything. But Melanie made this experience less stressful. She had everything sanitized and prepared prior to our arrival and assisted with outfit changes (which can be a bit much at times). This was such a huge help. Not to mention her turnaround time was quicker than any other photographer I've worked with in the area. The photos were perfect. 10/10 highly recommend. I highly recommend Melanie Amparo Photography! Everyone tells you that your baby will grow so fast & you won’t remember them being so tiny, so it was important to me to get photos of my daughter to preserve her sweet, petite size in a special way. Melanie was able to accomplish that and exceed my expectations. Her style of photography is completely stunning.
