The session fee officially reserves your time on my calendar, and it covers my raw costs and the time going into the pre, the session itself. It does not include any digital photographs.

Show up, relax, and let me take over. We will begin your newborn session with some family portraits and then move into focusing solely on your baby!
2. The session
About a week or so following your session, you'll get to see your portraits for the first time!
You'll fall in love, select your favorites and choose how you'd like to display your portraits.
3. viewing + Ordering appointment
Depending on what products your order, it can take anywhere from 3-8 weeks for delivery. I'll inspect each product to ensure they are perfect! Then we will schedule your order pickup and/or installation.
4. Order reveal & Installation

Melanie was nothing short of amazing. From the first interaction to shoot day. As a new mom I was a bit overwhelmed about, well you know, everything. But Melanie made this experience less stressful. She had everything sanitized and prepared prior to our arrival and assisted with outfit changes (which can be a bit much at times). This was such a huge help. Not to mention her turnaround time was quicker than any other photographer I've worked with in the area. The photos were perfect. 10/10 highly recommend. Everyone tells you that your baby will grow so fast & you won’t remember them being so tiny, so it was important to me to get photos of my daughter to preserve her sweet, petite size in a special way. When should I book?
I only take on 4-6 sessions per month so it's best to reach out as soon as possible!
Please know that last minute openings may also be available - so please don't hesitate to ask!
How old should baby be for a newborn session?
My sweet spot for documenting your baby is around 14 days old, as they are the sleepiest and are still quite flexible from being in the womb. If you have missed that window, we can still capture beautiful newborn pictures but we will focus more on wrapped poses and you may not get as many poses as a true newborn would. I have successfully completed several sessions for babies three weeks old all the way up to six weeks.
How long is an average session?
Newborn sessions can vary in length but on average they take about 3 hours. I take breaks when your little one needs to feed.
Milestone and Cake Smash sessions can take anywhere from 20-45 minutes.
Where will the session take place?
Newborn sessions will take place in my home studio located in Land o Lakes, FL.
Unfortunately I do not travel for newborn sessions as a lot of equipment, props and items are needed.
I can travel to your home for milestone sessions or cake smash sessions.
Do I need to bring anything?
I have a studio filled with props, backdrops, wraps, hats and headbands. You're welcome to bring pieces that are special to your family though!
How long will it take to get my photos?
Your ordering appointment will take place within 1-2 weeks of the session.
